I am very dissatisfied with my last service appointment. I printed a repair bulletin from GM regarding my specific repair and highlighted the details pertaining to my truck. I told the person that booked my appointment about the check engine light code number and reported about the connector that was corroded, yet I was still charged a $130 diagnostic fee and then told this repair would not be covered under the factory warranty even though It states in my warranty book under the emissions coverage that miscellaneous connectors are covered. Sounds like a gray area that you should have been able to over rule. I have already filed a claim with GM and will be taking my business elsewhere after being a Nick Chevrolet for 20 years. Nick's could have at the very least "worked with me" after selling me a $71,000 truck that ended up being turned into lemon law, I would think they would at least try to make things right instead of quoting me close to a $500 repair bill for a problem GM knows about and published a bulletin for.
